Sales Account Executive

UrbanLeap is seeking a high-energy, ambitious and passionate sales professional. This is an exciting time to join a rapidly-growing company. In this position, you will develop and expand business opportunities with prospective clients. You will target, educate and motivate prospective customers to embrace UrbanLeap’s revolutionary procurement management software. This role requires an autonomous self-starter with outstanding project management skills.


You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Acquire new customers from an assigned geography, industry, and or a set of prospects.
  • Contribute to proposals and RFP writing.
  • Continuously educate yourself on the latest technologies, competitors, and partners.
  • Provide an important feedback loop to development to help communicate requirements and prioritize new feature/function.
  • Report directly to the company CEO.

We’re looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience, selling to state and local governments OR SaaS, B2B, enterprise software to VP, SVP, and C-Level Executives is required.
  • Experience working in a startup.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including high caliber presentation skills.
  • Results and goal-driven individual. Proven track record of exceeding/meeting quotas year over year.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or other relevant fields – advantage
  • Any geographic location in the US is acceptable; located in San Francisco Bay Area - an advantage
