The 2020 Community & Economic Development Innovation Cohort is actively seeking pilot proposals in community and economic development solutions, as well as in remote provision of governance services and other emergency response solutions for COVID-19.
The Innovation Cohort, supported by ELGL & UrbanLeap, has announced its pilot focus area for the second year of the program: economic development and the provision of remote governance services and remote work recruitment due to COVID-19’s impacts on local government operations.
Four agencies have joined forces to identify and address shared challenges in the cohort. These participants are now seeking pilot proposals from vendors, partners, and others interested in assisting these cities, counties, and towns with this work. Solution providers must apply by 11:59 p.m. EST on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.
Interested providers should use the links above to submit their solutions for review by Wednesday, May 13. Reviews will be conducted by the cohort team, their mentors, and their organizational leaders. Vendors whose first-round reviews are positive will be invited to attend one of the available time slots for interviews and presentations with the cohort members. After interviews are completed, the cohort anticipates releasing its final selections and notifying all vendors by June 1, 2020.
